The Apple Shirt

My daughter was wearing this shirt for the first time today... I think it's so cute, I had to share it. It really reminds me of 1970's graphics which has made such a comeback in illustration and design. Ahhh, I think I had some clothes similar to this - brings back great memories of carefree, autumn/back to school days , walking with my brother to school or even walking home from the bus stop - alone. Much different times.

Autumn Circles

Here is the latest 'penny rug' but I see it more as 'autumn foam' (like summer sea foam) or bubbles/baubles. I have made several sizes of circles to fit in random, empty spots. This may sound funny, but I have such a close, personal feeling towards these colors. They please me... they give me a 'warm-fuzzy' feeling! It's kind of crazy! In the past few years I've been totally drawn to earth tones - where as for most of my adult life I've 'rejected' them... after growing up in the 70's. There must be a connection to emotion, memory and color. I wonder if any one's written about it!?
