Beaded Braclet

Making seed beaded things lately... It's just an experiment.  I like how it's going.  This has been brewing inside ofe for at least two years now... Feels good to get it out!

Bench no. 1

Here is the other bench which goes with the peach/brown one in a previous post.  I'm going to be looking for more furniture to paint... It's an unexpected pleasure:)

A Woven Friday...

Me and the dog at home, listening to records and figuring out my daughter's 'kid loom' she got for Christmas.  (I secretly wanted one too...). 

A perfect way to spend a little quiet time while the kids are sleeping in.  It's another 'teacher day' and it's raining again.  Board games and popcorn, perhaps???

Painted Bench

Just today I finished this tall stool/bench as a commission.  So happy with the way it turned out.... Maybe I missed my calling as a furniture painter:). Inspired by African motifs.

The Wheatfields

Here's a new woodblock print of my daughter.  I drew from a photograph from last summer...  Can't decide if I want to add color.  Hmmmn.
