Farm Stand Crayon Rubbing

A new woodcut started yesterday... I'm almost done but need to figure out the lettering for the fruit stand sign at the top of the image. Think it'll look nice painted. I have a few more in the works too... and when I'm all done with this show, all I wanna do is knit socks and make a quilt!!

I love this rubbing, Brenda! there is something so loose about it and sketch like - very nice - oh, man, it's so much work isn't it! getting ready for a show, I mean....

Hi Jeane... thank you! Yes, getting ready for a show is a lot of work *pant, pant*! I'm up for it but towards the end... it gets to be like pulling teeth. All part of the process, I suppose.

wow brenda...this is beautiful...good luck in the final preparations for your show! will you be showing paintings and woodcut prints? anything else?
are you dreaming about quilt patterns and colors?

Hi Beth... thanks! Yes, there will be both paintings and new woodcuts... woodblocks printed on linen and made into pillows, lavender sachets with block prints, cards... purses etc.

Mostly, I'm dreaming about sitting on the floor with the kids, hand sewing the quilts and chilling out!
