Anyway, I spent the morning painting my dry prints... some for the etsy shop, some for shows. It's a fun and sort of mindless part of printing that I love. The prints look more vibrant and detailed with color and there's no doubt I couldn't live without a whole lotta color in my life!

it's so sad...things we love always seem to disappear. I would love to buy three of all my faves but it never works out that way and then i'm out of luck. hopefully you can stock up on a few faves.....
the tulips scream spring! very unfortunate and the paints - Lynne over at heart and life is also very bummed - she has used them a long time....hopefully something will come along that will take their place - alas...
Hi Beth- I'll have to stock up on the most loved colors.
Hello Jeane - Ha, the tulips are screaming spring and so am I! Has the farmer's market opened yet in PT?
I hate when that happens! I'm sure you'll work around this but in the meantime, it's an adjustment! Love the tulips!
Hey Paula - yep... it's an adjustment, this economy is changing a lot of things. Thanks - I may have to get more tulips :)
the tulips are awesome...wow, a little spring. i've noticed a lot of shelter magazine are tanking, are those the magazines you mean? i hate it. i did hear a bright report about the economy the other day on npr...the first time anyone has dared to be positive, maybe it will be the first little leak in the dam. i hope so. all the negative media is giving everyone a confidence problem...even people whose jobs aren't in jeopardy and are doing fine have quit spending out of fear, which is putting additional strain on the economy. we went on a media fast and it helps a ton with our attitudes. i hope you find something to replace your beloved sparkly pigments.
Love the springy colors! Too bad about the paints. Scary times.
Hi Ursula and Willow-
yep, times are tough for a lot of people and companies. I was thinking of the Mary E. Home Companion mag in particular... it was a nice one :0
