(Felix Muller prior to 1918) (1897-1977) Early in his career he moved in Expressionist circles, illustrating Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire and contributing to the periodicals Der Sturm and Die Aktion. Like Max Beckmann, his work was affected by his experiences in the medical corps during World War I. (Shane Weller - Dover Publication)
